The day after Black Friday the club parks a converted school bus at 6th and Ingra in downtown Anchorage. Hot cocoa, coffee, or tea in exchange for new or gently used socks and boots. Donations go to local shelters.
The first year brought more than 600 pairs of socks, about a dozen pairs of boots, and over $200 in cash. Watch social media each November for the exact setup time.
